Mayor Daley's Famous Cows

Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley is seen with one of the 300 painted and decorated cows which lined the city's public places this summer. It is estimated that the exhibit "Cows on Parade" brought over 2 million visitors to the city. The cows were made by local artists and were later auctioned and raised over $3 million.
