The United States Conference of Mayors (USCM), in partnership with the American Beverage Association (ABA), has announced the winners of the 2015 Childhood Obesity Prevention Grants Program.  In this round of funding, six cities will share a total of $445,000 in grant awards, to support both new and existing programs initiated by USCM member mayors that address the childhood obesity epidemic in America's cities.

Awards were made in three categories - small, medium and large city.
  • Small City (Population of 75,000 or smaller): 2nd Place $25,000; 1st Place $100,000 
  • Medium City (Population between 75,000 and 250,000): 2nd Place $25,000; 1st Place $120,000
  • Large City (Population of 250,000 or greater): 2nd Place $25,000; 1st Place $150,000
