  • "MISSING THE MOVING TARGET: Meager job growth and the poor track record of the administration's job forecasts" by Jared Bernstein, Lee Price, and Isaac Shapiro

This joint study between the Center on Budget and Policy Priorities and the Economic Policy Institute analyzes three years of job growth predictions by the President's Council of Economic Advisers, including the highly unrealistic prediction it just released, finding an unmistakable pattern of employment creation not coming close to meeting the Administration's own expectations. This pattern casts doubt on the accuracy of the Administration's projections of job growth due to the tax cuts.
