Mayors will convene to promote solutions for American cities, including the housing crisis
Washington, DC – The U.S. Conference of Mayors (USCM) will host a press conference on Monday, August 19, 2024, at 11:45 a.m. CT to mark the start of the 2024 Democratic National Convention. USCM President Columbus Mayor Andrew Ginther, alongside mayors from across the nation including Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson, will discuss the role cities play in shaping the country’s future and their interest in collaborating across the political spectrum to address the biggest challenges facing cites.
USCM held a similar event at last month’s Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
